Calming Down with EFT and a Book for Finding Medical Care YOU Need!

B'SD

12 Av, 5772

I often advocate for Emotional Freedom Technique/EFT, a miraculous means of inner and outer healing (see http://www.garythink.com/). If you've never heard of EFT I want to share 2 videos with you. They could probably help anyone facing difficult situations.

Here's the 1st: Fear and Panic Right Now

Here's the 2nd video, Feeling Overwhelmed

What happens if you forget to tap or to say some mantra?

Nothing goes wrong.

The positive message is placed in your body and spirit by your energy/desire to heal. One sign that all is going well is when the tapper sighs unexpectedly. It indicates negativity leaving the system and psyche. There are other positive signs, too.

EFT has a documented history of helping people in many ways physically, spiritually and emotionally.

"... Ill people are often compromised and often don't know where to look for guidance. Putting so much useful information at their fingertips will help them navigate the difficulties of a confusing medical system. Combined with [the author's] encouragement to never give up hope, the book will be of great aid to anyone with a sudden serious medical emergency." - Daniel Eisenberg, MD, Department of Radiology at the Albert Einstein Medical Center in Philadelphia, PA; Assistant Professor of Diagnostic Imaging at Thomas Jefferson University School of Medicine; Medical Ethicist www.daneisenberg.com

Here's What to do When Obamacare Fails You

B'SD

10 Av, 5772

This blog shared several warnings about Obamacare's proposed human nightmare. Apparently too many US voters did not understand the issues. It comes down to this:

Click the link to read that article if you skipped it.

The Association of American Medical Colleges and the
California Medical Association weighed in on the issues.

They include Medicaid being of little, perhaps zero, help.

America, you have
a medical emergency
on your hands.

The lack of sufficient medical care problem is not limited to California. It's country-wide.

Want to improve your chances of recovery? Care to enhance your coping skills?

Here's What to do
When Obamacare Fails You:

Lower your stress and cut your medical costs when you learn how to access organizations all around the world willing to pay part or all of your specific medical bills. Those organizations are willing to supply your medical needs with 1st-quality medication, medical care and other medical necessities. All you have do to is to ask for them.

Less stress and you keep your cash. Beats Obamacare.

Making the World Accessible from Hollywood to Here!

B'SD

6 Av, 5772

Whew, I've been busy under increasingly hot and humid weather. I've filmed a few episodes of the Refua Radio show, interviewing some practitioners of highly successful alternative healing techniques. But I pulled the shows that have all concerned looking exhausted and soaked with perspiration. We'll probably shoot those segments again so that we come out looking less worn out.

This week I'm preparing a feature story about improving on accessibility issues for children with physical or other limitations. Here's an item I found stuck in my research notes. Feel a grin spread across your face when you read

Hollywood Pros Teach
Adults With Disabilities
Moviemaking
.

My feature story is full of solutions for children of all ages and their parents. I have more information for adults. That will possibly appear in a future article.

If you or someone you know need insights on how to travel with physical or cognitive limitations, be sure to read pages 59 and 98 of EMPOWER Yourself to Cope with a Medical Challenge (Buy it from Booklocker). They address solutions to travel issues for people with disabilities.

Tips for securing employment despite a disability are in there, too.

Stick this on Your Mirror and Feel Better for It!

B'SD

29 Tamuz, 5772

I am under time and emotional pressure today with little opportunity to prepare a longer blogpost. My fellow Israelis and I are in agony over the terrorist attack that ended the defenseless lives of people who had never harmed others.

In unrelated matters, my phone is ringing off the hook, my E-mail and Facebook accounts are filled with questions about how to cope with various life-threatening problems. I'm tending to the people with those questions one at a time.

The message I want to share with you today is this:

Tapping Your Fingers Can Create a New YOU

B'SD

28 Tamuz, 5772

A big fan of EFT, Emotional Freedom Techniques, I recommend it to anyone troubled by baffling problems that don't seem to go away no matter how much therapy or spiritual counseling you seek out. EFT works by making specific, focused statements as you tap specific parts of your body with guidance from a certified EFT practitioner.
to get a quick look at
what EFT is about.

EFT is a miraculous way to identify and to resolve emotional baggage and the sense of trauma haunting a person after something troubling happened to them. A competent EFT practitioner and your willingness to end your emotional problems are all it takes, along with your own simple finger taps on your chin, eyebrow, hand, head, ribs and collarbone.

I happen to have witnessed several EFT practitioners in action or I've worked with them on my own issues.

I find Yehudit Yosef's EFT coaching to be a cut above anyone else's EFT work. Her intuition, perceptiveness and competence at EFT guidance while she speaks on the phone with a client is impressive.

Yehudit only charges a nominal fee. Call her in Israel during normal Israeli business hours (mind your international time zone clocks!).

International callers can dial
+972.011.547.718.442.

People within Israel can call
0547.718.442

Open yourself to new possibilities: Step out of old mindsets and into Emotional Freedom with user-friendly techniques. Proceed at your own pace and enjoy the relief that awaits you.

You might shed some tears as you face your fears, then overcome them in the safety of EFT. That's a form of healing.

A medical or emotional crisis - you'd cry too, if it happened to you. Use your tissues and handkerchiefs with my blessings borne of experience. GOD gives you Permission to Weep. And you can say that to any critics after explaining that "It's MY Crisis! And I'll Cry if I Need To."

Make a Game of Your Healing and Coping Efforts. And WIN!

B'SD

26 Tamuz, 5772

There's a two-part question coming up for you, if you’ve heard me speak in live appearances. Question 1) Remember what happened when that medical specialist predicted a bleak future for me? I slammed the door on her as I said “Hold that thought,” while envisioning a better life for myself.

This snippet of the story
might
jog your memory
about the incident.

Then I literally invented my recovery plan and treated it as a game to play. I had NOTHING to lose in that venture; Not one doctor in the world knew how to help me to see again. Not even specialists.

Then I delivered a SHOCK to the medical world after my healing game plan was in high gear: I began to see though I’d been blinded in a way for which NO known recovery methods yet existed.

Here’s the scientific answer to why my determination to succeed, in a way specialists had never heard of, paid off so handsomely:

Question 2) Ready to learn more about how to play SuperBetter Games?

Mimic the can-do calming tips in EMPOWER Yourself to Cope with a Medical Challenge at Booklocker Publishing.

Those techniques gave a once-blind,
“probably gonna die soon” me
the chance to see.

The result of all my calming effort (yes, calming down is a bit of work) and "Invent my healing program as I go" energy is this: My vision and overall health keep improving.

I'm also blessed with a level of health to rival that of women HALF my age!

Despite what I've been through, I love to laugh. I often do.

Read EMPOWER Yourself to Cope with a Medical Challenge. Let me know which techniques work for you.

Go on, make your coping life fun!

Find out how to feel more spiritual, too, while you struggle and muddle through your medical, mental health and/or disability mess (Hat Tip to The One Above. The possibilities for you are limitless!).

Nobody can guarantee the results for your health. But one thing is certain: Emotional recoveries trump physical limitations and stark realities.

2 Wheelchairs + 1 Wedding = A Match Made in Heaven on Earth

B'SD

21 Tamuz 5772

As you'll read in

"The purpose of this workbook is to be a tool for strengthening your resolve. Emotions go on a roller coaster when a person learns of the medical and/or emotional/spiritual crisis that seems to be engulfing them. That’s a sign of being human, of being normal. Despite your yearning to master and to control the situation you’re in – or even to get rid of it, reality dictates that you remain calm and logical. The temptations to go ballistic are innumerable. We all suffer with that problem.

The mark of a refined human being, a "decent person," is that he or she behaves pleasantly and intelligently despite the pain, setbacks and sadness of the problem in their life. In the 21st century, however, a huge sense of confusion clouds our thinking: we became used to instant solutions back in the 20th century.

Technological advances gave us instantly cooked food zapped in microwaves. We advanced from s-l-o-w snail mail or telegram-facilitated communication to real-time Faxes, Instant Messaging, quickly received and responded to E-mail, cell phones, PDAs, blackberries and more. We lost the sense of having to wait for results.

That loss of perspective affects our understanding of emotional restraint and spiritual growth. They develop with the repetition of polite behavior despite inner turmoil. Time and patience are crucial factors for becoming refined individuals. They’re critical coping tools for medical challenges.

You turn every mistake into a blessing when you decide that it will not weigh you down and choose to use it to rise to greater heights. Growth means rising above present limitations, after all."

Watch these ideals come to life with people who live them without ever having read the EMPOWER Yourself book.

How to Lower the Cost of Your Disability, Mental Health or Physical Illness with Humor & Information

B'SD

13 Tamuz, 5772

I'm still smiling from the terrific interaction on yesterday's Winning Through Pain radio show with hostess Marla Martindale.

Some people have contacted me to ask: "What else can you say about the EMPOWER Yourself book and how it can help someone with an illness?"

My answer: It helps people of all ages and for many reasons including emotional, mental health, disabilities and physical health issues.

Men are some of the most enthusiastic readers of It’s MY Crisis! And I’ll Cry If I Need To: EMPOWER Yourself to Cope with a Medical Challenge. They call or write to thank me often. I suspect that I know why they like it so much.

The book is FILLED with privacy-protected answers to questions they need and want to ask. Too often men are simply unaware of whom they can trust to answer them and to protect their confidentiality. The EMPOWER Yourself book is a safe outlet with information that men and everybody need. EMPOWER Yourself lets you calm down, read and re-read the sections important to you in the confidential surroundings of your home, office or wherever you read the book. Men can even cry with the book and know that I’ll respect them later.

As I tell my Self-Help Coaching clients and book buyers, "A medical crisis - you'd cry too, if it happened to you. Use your tissues and handkerchiefs with my blessings borne of experience. GOD gives you Permission to Weep. And you can say that to any critics after explaining that 'It's MY Crisis! And I'll Cry if I Need To.'"

That license to cry appears on pages 4 and 5 of the book.

About that sense of humor you hear in my voice and in the book: It goes on the fritz at times because I'm normal, but it is a tool that I improve on, put away if necessary and take out again as needed. It helps me and other people past heartache. It’s saving my life.

That humor and happiness effort became a habit and then a permanent mindset. Healthy people think positively without trying. Pollyanna had it right: Putting positive thoughts in our heads is a Glad Game. True, it is difficult at first and that puts more pressure on us when we’re in a negative state of mind. We feel guilty that we’re stuck in a lousy thinking pattern, that we can’t change our thoughts from negative to positive. So I keep life simple – problems are things to master, to overcome one little bit at a time. I choose to cope with my vision disability. I chose to cope with the RSD thing. Both of them have left or are leaving my life.

I have days when my mood is not upbeat, but I accept that as part of being normal. Who could possibly be happy every moment every day? There are legitimate reasons for being sad, subdued or tired and frustrated. We can use the down time to recharge our spiritual, emotional and physical batteries. We reconnect with GOD that way, when we search for answers and solutions. Then we can think about how to get past the problem before us or how to accept the limitation with gracious behavior and thinking. That includes how to deal with medical and disability expenses.

Look at the expense of medical care these days. Not many people are giving out calming, cost-cutting answers. But It’s MY Crisis! And I’ll Cry If I Need To: EMPOWER Yourself to Cope with a Medical Challenge gives them to you.

I used my professional background in Health Information Management to write the book, including the Global Resources section at the back. It clues you into charitable organizations that pay for part, or all, of specific medical bills if you can’t afford them.

Here’s another important thing that I mentioned on the show and I want to stress the point here:
I believe in humor because it is a coping tool.  Here’s one of the upbeat items listed in the Global Resources section of EMPOWER Yourself: Gimp on the Go, a resource with a sense of humor. Adam Lloyd is a quadriplegic involved in business, journalism and helping individuals with disabilities to finesse travel needs with his online Disabilities Travel Publication. A comprehensive look at coping mechanisms and travel successes in pictures, anecdotes and more, it's at www.gimponthego.com.

The EMPOWER Yourself book holds many more terrific resources for helping ill people to help themselves.

We humans tend to be lazy and frightened. We want to avoid doing inner or physical work and confronting inner demons. So, we need to make breakthroughs. We can hit rock bottom and decide to rise or gain an insight that enlightens us to the wonder and happiness of self-improvement. Think of it like this: for a seed to grow, we must place in the ground. Covered in darkness, it struggles to reach the light and to grow. As it does, we watch the wonder and the beauty.  THAT is how people grow, too. We reach past the darkness and sometimes for each other. We hang on to faith and do whatever helps us to persevere.

People around the world are laughing along with the healing humor and can-do health tips in doctor-recommended EMPOWER Yourself to Cope with a Medical Challenge. It helps readers to make that breakthrough into "I can help myself to heal and I'm doing it! No excuses!" thinking and behavior. And wow it cuts the cost of personal health care with information on how to get free or low-cost first-quality medication, medical care, medical appliances and more.

There are plenty of reasons that I chose the “Face your medical problems with dignity. Face your future with optimism” motto for my book-related blog and Self-Help coaching services.

An improving and protected sense of dignity plus ever-better optimism and solid information help ill people to cope with medical, mental health and disability challenges. You can overcome despair that way, and allow yourself to heal emotionally, even physically despite devastating setbacks. We hear these great sayings over time, but I learned the lessons in my gut and every cell of my body. My readers can, too.

Every medical professional owes it to their patients to ask, “How can I help you today?” If they don’t, you’ll know what to do when you read

Medical and mental health professionals recommend its "persevere past emotional and physical pain" message. So do clergy of different faiths.

You can learn the lessons to help you when you buy the book from the publisher, Booklocker, which ships way faster than online book stores. Go to I'm buying the book NOW
